COFFEE NEWS · MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: November 1, 2026

Coffee News Mississippi Gulf Coast respects your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit coffeenews228.com and our online editions, including the Coffee News site hosted on chatgpt.site. It covers this website and inquiries sent through it.

For questions or privacy requests, contact Brian Parton at connect@coffeenews228.com or (228) 215-0803.

1. Information we receive

Information you provide. Advertising inquiries, pickup-location requests, and event submissions ask for a business, location, event, or organization name, a contact email, and your message. The form also sends the edition you are viewing and the type of inquiry. Your message may include your name, phone number, address, website, or event details. We also receive information you send by email or phone.

Basic technical information. Hosting and other service providers may process your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, referring page, and request time to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.

Searches and location. The current advertiser and pickup-location searches run in your browser; our site code does not send those search terms to us. Choosing an edition does not request your device’s precise location.

2. How we use information

We use information to answer questions, discuss advertising, arrange pickup locations, review community listings, maintain business correspondence, and operate and protect the website. An inquiry is not a newsletter signup. If you separately subscribe to email updates, you can unsubscribe using the link in those emails or contact us.

Public listings. Event descriptions and business or location details submitted for publication may appear on the website or in Coffee News. Include only contact details you have permission to publish, and tell us clearly if any submitted information should stay private.

3. Service providers and sharing

Our inquiry forms send information to FormSubmit, which processes submissions and delivers them to Coffee News by email. A spam check may be required. Email providers process and store the resulting messages.

The site is published through ChatGPT Sites, with Cloudflare hosting infrastructure. Pages also request fonts from Google Fonts, which receives basic connection information such as your IP address and browser information. These providers process information under their own policies: OpenAI, Cloudflare, and Google.

We do not sell personal information collected through this website or share it with advertising networks for targeted advertising. Information may be shared with providers that help us handle your request, when you ask us to share it, or when reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations or protect rights and safety.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use Google Analytics to measure visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, and website interactions. Google Analytics may use cookies and process browser and device information and other technical information. We disable Google signals and advertising personalization in our site tag. Our tag omits query strings and fragments from the page address sent with page views. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or inquiry messages to Google Analytics. Hosting, form-delivery, and spam-prevention services may use their own cookies or technical logs when you interact with them. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect third-party form or spam-check services; you can email us instead. The site does not currently change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals. Our current site code does not track your activity across other websites.

Advertiser websites, map links, event pages, and social media services have their own privacy practices. When you follow a link, the other service may receive technical information and anything you choose to provide. This policy does not cover those services.

6. Retention and security

We keep correspondence and related records as needed to handle requests, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by record type and by the service storing it. Removing an event from the website does not automatically delete the original submission or email.

No website, email system, or internet transmission is completely secure. Please do not submit payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, health information, or other sensitive personal information through these forms.

7. Your choices and requests

You can browse without submitting a form. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you provided, email connect@coffeenews228.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We may need to verify your identity. We will review requests under applicable law; some records may need to be retained for legal or business recordkeeping purposes. Additional privacy rights may apply depending on where you live.

8. Children’s privacy

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its date when our practices change. If a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it. New tracking, newsletter, payment, or location features will need to be reflected in this policy when introduced.
